The First Level |
| This is a simple submit of your URL to search engines. Some major search engines will take 3-6 weeks to recognize your website and put them on there search database. This does not affect ranking on search engines. You just have to give more time for results. We also do not create sitemap.xml for this service. Sitemaps are important in helping search engines index pages more precisely. It does not mean that the search engines will not index certain pages; it just means that some pages may not get indexed for results. If you already have |
The Second Level |
This is a bit more involved. We have to use proven techniques to submit your website to major search engines. Most major search engines require fees up front to get your listing online in 24 to 48 hours. We incur those fees for you. We also take this a step further. We use webmaster tools to create sitemaps.xml that makes it easier for search engines to recognize every page on your website. There is no limit on pages. You can have 1 or 1,000,000 pages. The search engines will use the sitemap.xml to locate and index each page for you. This allows you’re other pages attached to your main page to show up on search results.
Here is a good example of how this works. Let’s say you sell many types of products for inside and outside the home. When a particular item is typed into the search engine, the results are displayed for that item. When you have your website correctly indexed on the search engine, it will direct them to that particular item. So instead of just directing them to your home page where the item is not displayed, it will put them on the exact page of the item they are looking for. This is where you keep the consumer happy.
How many times have you searched for a particular item, clicked on the link, and find yourself at a page that does not have the item you were looking for. This is usually when you just hit the back button and go to the next search result. So this is where the importance of correctly submitting your website into search engines makes the difference. |
